Abstract
the implementation and selection of cutter path and process parameter are most important in aerospace and mould and die industries. Proper selection of this parameter save machining time, improve workpiece surface quality and improve tool life. This lead to overall cost reduction and higher productivity. This paper identifies and review the different type of cutter path (tool path) and compare them based on tool path length, cutting time and cutter life. Also review the different feed rate selection strategies for pocket milling.
