Abstract

In this present work, M25 grade of concrete is used as reference mix. The fine aggregate (natural sand) was replaced with percentages 0%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100% of manufactured sand by weight. Tests were performed to evaluate the workability characteristics of fresh concrete, Compressive, Split Tensile and Flexural strength were determined at the age of 7days, 28days, 56days, and 91days
respectively. Durability of the concrete was tested by immersing the specimens in 1% Hydrochloric acid solution for 91 days
