Abstract

DM is amalgamation of two processes-namely thin wall machining and single point incremental bending/forming. This process allows the formation of complicated geometries and structures, which would be rather difficult or on occasionunmanageable to manufacture. This process allows the formation of monolithic components with  uncommon geometries which were earlier assembled. DM allowsformation of monolithic structures with complicated geometries employing conventional tooling.
