Abstract

present study is aimed at understanding the properties of concrete under the influence of crystalline admixture. The mechanical properties of concrete are observed with various concentrations of the admixture and in discrete environmental conditions. A regain of 17.64%of strength in water immersion condition is observed from the experiments. Of all the controlled environmental conditions the complete immersed environment dominates in the strength regain. An improvement of 0.8% of permeability is observed with the healed specimen blended with crystalline admixture
