SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERISATION OF NICKEL (II) COMPEXES USING HEPTANEDIONEDIOXIME AND AMINES

Abstract

In recent years, there has been an unprecedented increase in the number of interesting binuclear, trinuclear and of even higher nuclearity (up to 24) nickel (II) complexes that have been structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray crystallography and the absolute size of the materials ascertained. Particularly, planar ligands with imine or amine donors and bridging phenolic oxygens, which are usually referred to as Robson-type ligands.
