Abstract

The endeavour presents the microstrip rectangular patch antenna for S –band and C – band applications. In order to achieve the circular polarization, defected ground base structure has been incorporated in the design. By employing iterations in the coplanar structure of the antenna, parameters like gain, directivity, reflection coefficient are observed. The antenna is simulated using FR4 Epoxy as a substrate material with a dielectric constant of 4.4. Entire design process has been done using the HFSS
