Abstract

Industrial development is necessary. But due to this industrial development solid as well as liquid waste also genetated. This kind of liquid waste mixed with soil and the physical and chemical properties od soil goes to change. Change in basic properties of soil effects on the foundation soil. Due to the waste contaminated to the foundation soil the the structure foundation becomes weeker as studies many researchers. In this research the research area taken is GIDC region near Jhagadia, Gujarat. There are so mant chemecical and pharmaceutical industries situated here. And waste water fenerated by these industries contain chemicals ehich contaminated with the foundation soil of this area. Due to this contamination the Physical and chemical properties of the near by region goes to change.
