Abstract

Typha and aquatic plant was grown for phytoremediation treatment for waste water. The concentration of waste water were in range 0 (control), 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100%. Maximum value were observed in the range 40 to 60% waste water for fresh matter yield, dry matter yield, chlorophyll and ascorbic acid content, and catalase activity of Typha plant. Overall it is concluded that waste water can be used for irrigation or crop plant after phytoremediation treatment with aquatic plant.
