A REVIEW ON DETECTION AND MITIGATION OF VARIOUS MANET ATTACKS

Abstract

the collection of wireless devices communicating with each other with the help of other intermediate nodes and establish channels of communication, all this takes place without establishing a real infrastructure. While the nodes communicate through channels there are times where the communication fails or is interrupted or destined to a wrong place these interruptions in the communication is caused due to some attacks. There are different attacks that are encountered in wireless communication Black hole attack, Grayhole attack, sinkhole attack. This paper reviews the attacks in MANET their detection and mitigation.
