Abstract

A set of activities used to sell products/ services to ultimate consumer for their uses and utilities is retailing, retailing takes the responsibility for matching consumer demand according to their needs & upcoming trends in market. The term “Retail” is derived from the French word retailer which simply mean ‘to cot a piece off’, Retailer is a person, an agent, a company or agency who converts input in to finished product / final goods with the help of manufacture for ultimate satisfaction of consumer, there are various sort of avidities which are performed by the retailer on customer which are performed by the retailer on customer hands such as anticipation of consumer needs & desires, development of marketing strategies, channel of communication prediction of market, competitors affect financing. In this paper will study about retail marketing, Retail marketing comprises of sale & purchase of goods & services to ultimate consumer considering his task & preferences according to the trends in marketing
