Abstract

The world is dying, we are drowning in plastic. In the last 10 years we are produced more plastics then the latest century. 50% of the plastic we consume has a onetime use, each year enough plastic is produced. 80 million tons of plastics are dumped in oceans every year. In this plastic degradation speed of 500-1000 years. One million of sea birds and a hundred thousand of mammals are killed by plastic. Only 6.5% of the plastics recycled. That’s why we can make difference i.e. paver blocks using waste plastic. Different mixes of (M-sand: plastic) ratios are prepared and then tested. The ratios being tested are (1:3) and (1:6) by weight, then result will be compared to the normal paver blocks. Finally in this project we have to reduce 70-80% plastic waste by using this project. Civil Engineer’s duty is not just to build the buildings and also save the whole environment and nation.
