Abstract

A real time operating system means a type of operating system which complete the task by providing correct result within given dead line. Real time operating system (RTOS) is specially used to meet the real time constraint and to support the sophisticated facilities provided by embedded system. This paper describe the importance of Real Time operating system in real life, also its working. This paper also give an overview of one of the best high performance real time operating system SCIOPTA.
