Abstract

The creating plenitude of city India has made the vehicles for a necessitate. This has resulted in an sudden public problem - that of traffic control and vehicle recognition. Parking area have moved toward becoming overemphasized because of the developing quantities of vehicle on the streets nowadays. The Automatic Number Plate Recognition System (ANPR) plays an vital role in address these issue as its application range from parking entrance to monitor city activity and following vehicle robberies. There are various ANPR frameworks accessible nowadays which depend on various philosophies. In this paper, we try to analysis the a range of technique and their custom. Image binearization is a method to change an image to black and white. In this method, definite threshold is selected to categorize certain pixels as black and certain pixels as white. But the chief problem is how to select correct threshold value for exacting image. In the propose system, we have designed for the defecting of licensed number plate vehicles. The licensed plate location is extracted using SURF feature extraction.
