Abstract

Graphene is a 2-dimensional monoatomic carbon allotrope with distinguished properties that can prove to be highly beneficial for cementitious composites. Inclusion of derivatives of this material in cementitious composites has proven to be advantageous from the standpoint of mechanical, rheological and thermal properties. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of structure, functionalisation, fabrication along with variation in properties of the cement composites with addition of Graphene Oxide (GO).
