Home About History and Milestones

IJTIMES was established to serve scholarly research at the convergence of computing, mechanical and industrial engineering, and science. This page records the principal milestones in the journal's development and is updated as further milestones are reached.

🏗 Founding

The International Journal of Technical Innovation in Modern Engineering & Science (IJTIMES) was established in 2015 with the objective of providing a high-quality, peer-reviewed, open-access platform for the dissemination of innovative research in engineering, science, and technology. From its inception until December 2022, the journal was published on a monthly basis, consistently releasing Volumes 1 through 8 with twelve issues per year without interruption. To further enhance its editorial quality and streamline the publication process, IJTIMES transitioned to a quarterly publication schedule beginning with Volume 9 in January 2023. Since then, the journal has continued to publish four issues annually while maintaining its commitment to rigorous peer review, timely publication, and unrestricted access to high-quality scholarly research.

🏢 Publisher: KG Publication

🔎 Indexing Applications in Progress

IJTIMES has applications in preparation or in flight for:

  • Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index): application planned following completion of the journal's current operational programme.
  • Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ): application planned following completion of the journal's current operational programme.

Updates on these applications are posted on the journal's News and Announcements page as they progress.
