Abstract
A shear wall is utilized to oppose the shear, delivered because of lateral forces. Shear walls are put in the building inside to give more strength and stiffness to the building when the outside walls can't give sufficient strength and stiffness. It is imp to discover the workable state of shear wall. The present work manages a study on the change of state of shear walls in symmetrical elevated structure. In symmetrical structures, the center of gravity and center of unbending nature coincide, with the goal that the shear walls are set symmetrically. In this work an elevated structure of different shape of shear walls is considered for investigation. The multi story working with G+15 story's are investigated for its story displacement, story drift, base shear and story shear utilizing ETABS software. For the examination of the working for seismic analysis with two distinct Zones (Zone-3 and Zone-5) is considered. The investigation of the building is finished by utilizing dynamic technique (Response spectrum method).
