Abstract

Images taken in the rain or snow cannot be seen properly. It’s really hard to view the surrounding environment in the image taken from the outdoor camera. Single image are used in different fields such as object recognition, noise removal from the image and any more. Rain or snow fall in the images and videos reduces the clarity of the images and videos which in turn be difficult for the algorithm to extract data and features from the image or video. We have many different techniques which were used previously to solve these kinds of problems. But previous papers published only focus on the video processing techniques and the rain drops which are present on the surface. Here in this paper we are focusing more on the clarity of the image by restoring the rain strikes detecting and removing from the single image using algorithm alike video image detecting technique
