Abstract
The document is related to the study of Designing garments from old denim wear with the use of traditional tie and dye. A project work conducted by the polytechnic students of Bharuch, Gujarat on "Reuse of denim with Tie and Dye”. The designs were developed after gathering the preferences of different fabrics combining with denim. Most of the denim fabric was collected by the students from old denim wears. On the basis of the preferences gathered from the judges through questionnaire method, five designs were selected for developing the Garments.The objective of the study was to identify the best of fabric with denim and reuse denim for further use. This study is also about, exploring ways to connect different fabric material and working with the limitations.
