Abstract

Earthquakes that occurred as of late revealed that a large quantity of accessible reinforced concrete buildings specially soft storey building are susceptible to damage or even fail during a strong earthquake. The main objective of structural engineers is to design as well as build a building structure in such a way that the damage to the structure and its structural element during the earthquake is minimal. This work deals with the study of static and dynamic analysis of RC Frame structures to study different parameters pertaining to seismic analysis. ETab Software facilitate the work and planning of the structure considering every one of the impacts and handle the biggest and most complex building models, including an extensive variety of nonlinear practices, making it the tool of choice for structural engineers in the building industry. An exhaustive study of the literatures has been presented in this work.
