Abstract

Detection and tracking of an object is very important in these days. In real time environment tracking of moving objects ia not an easy task due to the continous movement of an object. By using image processing algorithm, the moving object in real environment can be detected amd tracked contionously. Here we use foreground detection method to detect the moving object by using image processing algorithm. after detecting the object we track the moving object by using kalman filter. To detect and track the moving object the proposed method uses infrared camera which can work in night times also. For particular region of interest the proposed method can achieve good result. in this we use microcontroller, arduino uno board, kalman filter and computing stick. Using infrared camera the proposed method is used to detect and track moving object during night times also
