Abstract
The earth is protected with water in a majority space. Underwater (UW) acoustic communication is a technique of sending and receiving messages below water. For the national security reason, UW communication has become quite important for all manhood. For enhancing the multiple access scheme in acoustic channel is the hot research topic now a days. Researchers have reported that multiple access scheme known as IDMA is very valuable in acoustic communication. IDMA uses different interleavers to distinguish users instead on user oriented signature sequences as in case of CDMA. Various interleavers have been reported in literature for IDMA.This paper presents review of acoustic IDMA scheme with various interleaves.
