Abstract

Nowadays construction industry facing the problem of the poor quality and the quality improvement is much needed in this era. Kaizen or continues improvement is a methodology that improves the quality of the production organization. Vital techniques are practically implemented for improvement in quality of construction but the kaizen methodology is unique and better. Here the kaizen tool of lean is practically implemented in the construction industry. In this review, the pilot study and questionnaire carried out to know the parameters that affect the quality of construction and that parameters will be improve by using why-why analysis for root cause. The methodology provides better understanding of Kaizen activity in the construction industry.
