NEW CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY FOR HOUSING BUILDING COMPLEX USING EPS CORE PANEL

Abstract Expanded Polystyrene Core Panel System (EPS) Technology for Housing and Buildings are demonstrated here taking one case study in Bhubaneswar city. In this case high strength hard drawn wire is used having diameter ranging from 3mm to 4mm and 2.5mm to 4mm with a wire mesh size of 50mmx50mm and 100mmx100mm respectively having ultimate tensile strength of steel wire 550 Mpa or more. The high density concrete of 15Kg/cum is used for a core thickness of 40mm to 120mm which is depends upon the intended use of panels generally it is made for non-load bearing walls of a core 40mm to 50mm to a load bearing walls of core 100mm to 120mm and it is used for roof slab thickness varying from 80mm to 120mm as required by the type of structures. In this case the construction was made for a five storied residential building

NON-REPLICATE ACTIVE PROOF OF REPOSITORY FOR MULTIPLE USERS IN CLOUD ENVIRONMENT

Abstract To the very best of our understanding, no existing dynamic PoSs supports this method. We developed a novel tool known as HAT which is an excellent authenticated structure. We suggested the excellent needs in multi-user cloud storage systems and introduced the type of DE duplicatable dynamic Poss. As opposed to the present authenticated structures, for example skip list and Merkle tree, we design a singular authenticated structure known as Homomorphic Authenticated Tree, we present additional information about Post and dynamic Poss. Whenever a verifier wants to determine the integrity of the file, it at random selects some block indexes from the file and transmits these to the cloud server. Existing dynamic PoSs can't be extended towards the multi-user atmosphere. Because of the problem of structure diversity and tag generation, existing system can't be extended to dynamic PoS. An operating multi-user cloud storage system needs the secure client-side mix-user deduplication technique, which enables a person to skip the uploading process and acquire the possession from the files immediately, when other proprietors of the identical files have submitted these to the cloud server. to lessen the communication cost both in the evidence of storage phase and also the deduplication phase concentrating on the same computation cost. We prove the safety in our construction, and also the theoretical analysis and experimental results reveal that our construction is efficient used. Within this paper, we introduce the idea of deduplicatable dynamic evidence of storage and propose a competent construction known as DeyPoS, to attain dynamic PoS and secure mix-user deduplication, concurrently.

Abstract To explain this attack, a concrete instance is offered. We prove the safety in our plan underneath the divisible computation Diffie-Hellman (DCDH) assumption. Regrettably, ABE plan requires high computation overhead during performing file encryption and understanding operations. Within the existing plan, whenever a user leaves from the user group, the audience manager only revokes his group secret key which means the user’s private key connected with attributes continues to be valid. Our plan is appropriate for resource restricted devices. If a person within the group intentionally exposes the audience secret answer to the revoked user, he is able to perform understanding operations through his private key. This defect gets to be more severe for lightweight devices because of their restricted computing sources. Within this system, we concentrate on designing a Club penguin-ABE plan with efficient user revocation for cloud storage system. aused by our experiment shows computation cost for local devices is comparatively low and could be constant. We try to model collusion attack done by revoked users cooperating with existing users. In addition, we construct a competent user revocation Club penguin-ABE plan through increasing the existing plan and prove our plan is CPA secure underneath the selective model.

STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF RESERVOIR INDUCED SEISMICITY AT A RESERVOIR SITE

Abstract This paper presents a statistical probability method to find the probability of a particular intensity of earthquake at a reservoir site which can be used to assign degree of risk associated with the site. Reservoir impoundment at certain sites leads to increase seismicity at the site which makes the structures in the vicinity of the reservoir vulnerable to earthquake forces which might not have been considered according to conventional seismic design, thus it becomes important to include the effect of Reservoir Induced Seismicity (RIS) in the design of structure which are in proximity to the reservoir site. So we are presenting a modified earthquake design for a site which is suspected to be in the category of RIS by using additional parameters along with conventional parameters of earthquake design. The nature of our design where seismicity have been induced due to reservoir impoundment is a slightly different from tectonic earthquake design considering the fact that this particular design is well supplemented with a rational statistical analysis hence requiring us to design the structures for increased design forces to fulfil the basic earthquake design criteria.

Risk Assessment and Management in Building Construction Project

Abstract Risk management in construction projects has been apparent as very imperative processes of all management to realize goals such as cost, time, safety, quality, and ecological sustainability. The projects have become a multifaceted effort with the construction project and management a good example of an area where the existence of the project is an extremely complex network of actors. By adopting risk assessment, savings’ potentials can be realized in construction projects. For this reason, consideration of the risk management process is worthwhile for project managers as well as real estate developers. The impression of the risk management system does not propose the development of the search-oriented existence of the projection and permeability of a material, process, and projector processes. To analyze the levels of different risk factors in the construction industry, questionnaires were used to collect data. Based on a global assessment of the probability of occurrence of various risks and their impact on project objectives, this document identifies sixty-four major risk factors. This research has found that these risks are mainly related to (ranking) contractors, project manager, architect and designers, owner, engineer with some other government agencies, subcontractors/suppliers, and external issues. Among them, it is recognized that "Risk" affects all project destinations at the most while Increase of materials price, Project delay, Teamwork, Increase of labor costs defective design and Increase of materials price are also important risk factors. This research also found that risks are spread throughout the life cycle of the project and many risks occur in more than one phase, with the construction phase being the most dangerous phase followed by the feasibility phase. We conclude that customers, designers, and government agencies should work cooperatively from the feasibility step forward to discuss potential risks in time. In addition, contractors and subcontractors with solid construction and management skills should be used quickly to make good preparation for safe, efficient, and constructive construction activities. The aim of this research is to show and assess the risks and uncertainties in the current construction sector through a vast survey of the literature. It is also intended to serve as a basis for future studies to develop a risk assessment and management structure to be adopted by potential investors, developers and entrepreneurs from developing countries.

The water samples will be analyzed for various physic-chemical parameters namely pH, temperature, conductivity, DO, BOD, total dissolve solids, total hardness, nitrate, fluoride, chloride. The calculate Water Quality Index (WQI) and the determine physical and chemical parameters of surface water to provide safe drinking water.

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF FLEXURAL BEHAVIOUR OF CORRUGATED COLD FORMED STEEL SECTION

Abstract Cold-formed steel members maintain a constant thickness around their cross-section, whereas hot-rolled shapes typically exhibit tapering or fillets. Cold-formed steel allowed for shapes which differed greatly from the classical hot-rolled shapes. The material was easily workable; it could be deformed into many possible shapes. Even a small change in the geometry created significant changes in the strength characteristics of the section. It was necessary to establish some minimum requirements and laws to control the buckling and strength characteristics. Also it was observed that the thin walls underwent local buckling under small loads in some sections and that these elements were then capable of carrying higher loads even after local buckling of the members.

ANALYSIS OF BRACED UNSYMMETRICAL RCC BUILDING USING SAP2000.

Abstract The study of Earthquake Engineering has existence from many years. Earthquake Engineers have made significant contributions to the seismic safety of several important structures in the country. Braced frames, besides other structural systems, such as moment resisting frames or shear walls, have been an effective and valuable method to enhance structures against lateral loads. In seismic excitations, inclined elements react as truss web elements which would bear compression or tension stresses. This axial reaction results in less moments and therefore smaller sizes in beam and column sections with respect to members in similar moment resisting frame. Present analytical seismic study deals with optimum location of steel bracing to the RC structure with unsymmetrical building plan of G+30 stories in Zone 5 following IS 1893(part-1):2002 and IS 13920:1993 by nonlinear dynamic analysis. In this paper two separate Unsymmetrical RCC framed buildings one braced and another general (unbraced) subjected to lateral loads are analyzed. Seismic analysis is carried out using software SAP2000 V19 the building is analyzed for different load combinations as per IS 1893:2002. The comparison is done between the braced and unbraced building on the basis of base reactions, joint reactions, and section cut forces. It was observed that seismic performance of the braced building is improved as compared to general (unbraced) building.

FLEXURAL RESPONSE OF HYBRID FRC BEAMS

Abstract Now a days, repairing and rejuvenation of Structures Cost high as much as the Construction of New Structures. The main reason for repairing of RC Structures are cracks which are induced due to flexural failure of RC Structure. So as to improve the flexural strength, we had found that the addition of fibers especially Hybrid fibers are suitable for flexural failure issue. In this paper flexural behavior of hybrid fiber reinforced concrete beams was investigated. Combination of steel and glass fibers was used as hybrid fibers. In order to obtain benefits of both fibers. The Hybrid concrete beams of concrete were casted as per IS 10262:2009. The Hybrid fibers are added to concrete by 2% of its total volume. Fibers are Hybridized with proportions of (25%S-75%G, 50%S-50%G, 75%S-25%G). Hybrid FRC and control concrete beams were casted and tested.

With rapid advancement in the field of computer technology, the amount of digital image data on the Internet and in the digital library has seen immense growth. Therefore there is a requirement of an accurate and fast method to retrieve digital images from large databases. Over the years, several content based image retrieval techniques have been developed but still they lag behind the existing text search engines. This term paper briefly describes some of the existing content based image retrieval techniques and suggests modification on one of these techniques in order to achieve efficiency.

Cryogenic treatment not only affects the surface of the component but it affects whole structure of component.Cryogenic treatment has been recognised that they can reduce the retained austenite and improve the performance of materials by improving its martensite structure also increase the formation of very small carbides, improving the general mechanical properties of the steels. Abstract Wireless Ad Hoc Network which are more often known as Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) .It is a network that has no infrastructure and self-organises the connectivity of mobile devices wirelessly. This paper discusses about comparisons of Horizontal and vertical combination topology and grid topology in AODV protocol on the basis of performance metrics such as Through-put, Packet Delivery Ratio, Avg End to End Delay. AODV is a routing protocol that is loop-free for Ad Hoc networks. Here various metrics for performance of wireless sensor node that is using AODV routing protocol are analysed and implementations on the parameters on the basis of Average end to end delay and Throughput with wait time keeping constant and size of the network i.e. mean of total number of nodes in specific network using traffic scenario in MANET using Network simulator.

PERFORMANCE OF SFRC FOR FLEXURAL FATIGUE SUBJECTED TO VARIOUS STRESS RATIO’S AND STRESS RANGES

Abstract SFRC now a days very useful for pavement construction. The fatigue strength of the pavement should be sufficient in order to withstand the load acting on it. In this paper performance of SFRC is checked for flexural fatigue subjected to different stress ranges and stress ratios in order to simulate practical loads. Total 70 prisms of size 75×100×500 with different percentage of fibers are casted and tested for different stress ratios. From the results S-N curves are drawn and regression equation has been established to find out life of the pavements. It is observed that flexural strength and fatigue performance increases with increase in percentage of fibers.

ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF SPECIAL EDUCATION: A LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract This paper aims to explore and investigate the various aspects and role of assistive technology to improve the learning ability of the specially able student. As there are different kinds of pedagogy and methodologies which are used for purpose of learning in National and International Institutions across the world, it becomes quite harder for mild and moderates disabled peers to compete with the general pupil. Adaptive and assistive technology plays a vital role and tries to bridge the gap of the way of learning which provides an opportunity to participate in the field of learning. The main hurdle in the transformation of technology is lack of dissemination of knowledge of assistive technology among the targeted audience. There are lots of initiatives and projects launched by the government of India for empowering specially able students. Assistive Technology provides different tools and devices which will be beneficial for the people with mild and moderate disabilities.

ANALYTICAL AND EXPREMENTAL BEHAVIOUR OF COLD FORMED STEEL SIGMA AND Z SECTION PURLIN CONNECTIONS

Abstract Cold formed steel sections are widely used as purlins in industrial buildings. Plain C, Z and sigma sections are most common cold-formed steel purlins in use for roof systems throughout the world. In a pre engineered building of larger bay span two purlins are connected in such a way that it acts as a continuous member. The purlins are connected either by overlapping them or by bolting a short sleeve member that holds and connects the purlins. This paper aims in determining the capacities of bolted overlapped and sleeved connections for z and sigma section having same depth and thickness. The stability, load bearing capacity and failure modes for the four different connections are found by both finite element analysis and experimental test. The finite element analysis is done by ABAQUS/CAE. Results are compared to find which connection type has higher strength and is effective for use in industrial buildings

A Design & Investigation of Cone Section Geometry for Cyclone Separators

Abstract The current article provides a new geometry of circular cone as an alternative of vertical cone cyclone separator for improvise the efficiency; which eventually reduces pressure drop of cyclone separator. Examine work is based on performance improvisation of cyclone separator geometry used in flour mill with different motor load condition. The investigate of new model with circular cone section in different flow rate`s and its impact on performance parameters like efficiency and pressure drop. The Reduce of cyclone cone section length for building centrifugal force Higher satisfy primary benefit. Circular cone section collection efficiency are higher than vertical cone cyclone separator and lesser drop pressure are to be investigational proved.

ANALYSIS OF LAND USE AND LAND COVER CHANGES OF A RURAL SUB-WATERSHED USING RS AND GIS IN TAMILNADU, INDIA

Abstract Knowledge of the distribution of land use and land cover (LULC) is important for land planning and land management activities. Repetitive nature of IRS IC LISS III and PAN merged imagery data has been utilized for measuring qualitative and quantitative spatial information of LULC changes at different levels for various aspects. In handy, the available three years LULC maps in 1995, 2003 and 2012 have been taken into account to know the past and present patterns of LULC in the upper Manimuktha sub-watershed (4CIA2e) of Tamilnadu. The digitization of these maps, relationship between changes and its trend is analysed using ArcGIS software and compared. The study area is dominated by agricultural land, forest land followed by water bodies, waste land and settlement. The results are presented spatially as well as graphically by GIS maps and bar-chart. From this study, it is inferred that there are significant positive (10.19%) changes in agricultural land and negative (3.09%) changes in forest cover in the study area because of the increasing human population need as well as to generate more income. It is necessary to conserve forest of the study area for sustainable development.

ASSESSMENT OF CORNER RADIUS BY USING GLASS FIBER REINFORCED POLYMER IN CONCRETE

Abstract This paper presents the experimental and analytical results of the study carried out to investigate the influence of the corner radius of the cross-section on the strength of small scale square concrete column specimens confined with glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) composite laminates. The experimental part of the study was achieved by testing 48 specimens under uniaxial compression. Depending on the selected radius of the edges. The sharpest square specimens had a corner radius of 5mm, 15mm, and 25mm to make composite application easier and to avoid a premature rupture of the composite. The result show that smoothening the edges of square cross-section plays a significant role in delaying the rupture of FRP composite at these edges, and the efficiency of FRP confinement is directly related to the radius of cross-section edges. A modified analytical model is presented to predict the strength of FRP-confined square sections. The predicted results are found to be in excellent agreement with the measured ones.
