SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION AND TIME SERIES MAPPING OF CORONAVIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19) IN NAGPUR DIVISION, MAHARASHTRA

Abstract Now-a-days, Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is one of the most dangerous, transmissible, and infectious diseases spread all over the world. Few years ago, SARS-2003 and MERS-2012 diseases out broke in Asia which was caused by the Coronavirus. At the end of December 2019, a new type of Coronavirus disease was found in the Wuhan city of China, which was later named as COVID -19. This disease is more dangerous than the previously occurred viral infections because there is no precise antidote or treatment available for COVID -19 as of now. World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the COVID-19 outbreak as a global pandemic. The first positive case and the first death were reported in Nagpur division during 13 March 2020 and 6 April 2020 respectively. This research aimed at mapping the spatial distribution of COVID -19 and time-series analysis of COVID -19 affected people in Nagpur division from 13 March 2020 to 18 May 2020 with the aid of Geographic Information System (GIS). Based on the findings of this research, it was
suggested to facilitate the affected areas with more medical services.

THERMAL RESISTANCE PERFORMANCE OF NATURAL STONES BY THERMOSTATIC OVEN AND INFRARED THERMOMETER

Abstract Energy crisis is a major problem faced by the country in this era. Energy utilization by people is growing now days. Also building or house which is need of every human being is contributing to global warming by emitting gases due to heat radiation. Artificial cooling is leading to increase the greenhouse gases. Expose area of building to sunlight or increasing temperature have demanded for more and more cooling system. Other reason is the climatic change happening in surrounding. To overcome this multi-dimensional path can be followed that is use of natural stones in construction. Use of Natural stones will help to reduce the energy consumption, increasing level of global warming and will keep the interior parts of room cool. Natural cooling in building contributes to reduce the size of air condition system and annual energy consumption. It is very essential for energy saving; a growing interest is focused on using building stones. There are certain applications where this heat transfer or thermal conductivity and other characteristics of a natural stone become an important factor in selecting the best material and design. Also Ecological way can be preferred to have minimal carbon footprint in construction and multidimensional development. The naturally available and economic material can be used to partially replace the artificial products which harm the environment. The above method may be used for natural air conditioning in buildings and can be efficient in reducing global warming. Properties of natural stone samples used in building construction were studied and their temperature was measured by using thermostatic oven and infra-red thermometer and results were manipulated.

COMPARATIVE STUDY ON TRANSMISSION LINE TOWER CONSIDERING DIFFERENT BASE WIDTH RATIOS AND MATERIALS

Abstract In this study, transmission line towers are compared for the best economic combination and minimization of their weight according to their base widths, base extension and material used for designing of the transmission line tower truss members that is either mild steel or high tensile steel and also combination of both and finalizing a base width ratio which governs to minimum weight and therefore minimum cost.

First of all, tower base width ratio is fixed to 1:1 and weight of tower and cost is figured out. Then longitudinal face is reduced with respect to fixed transverse face. And several models are compared with different base width, materials and combination of materials.

Indirect field oriented control of induction motor with 3-level and 5-level inverter

Abstract Different methods have been proposed for controlling the induction motor drives .however, based on applications and machine ratings variety of methods have been reported in the literatures. The field oriented control strategies can be remarkably used for high performance ac drives. For improving the dynamic performance of induction motor drive, indirect field oriented control method has widely accepted for improved dynamic performance of induction motor drive. This paper presents indirect field oriented control (IFOC) fed induction motor drive with multilevel inverter topology. Comparison of three levels and five level inverter is also carried out. It can be seen that a five level inverter topology is a more stable and optimum performance can be achieved.

HYSTERESIS CURRENT CONTROL INDUCTION MACHINE DRIVE THROUGH MODELING AND SIMULATION

Abstract Field oriented control is inherently used for controlling the induction motor drives. Indirect field oriented scheme with various topologies like SPWM, HCC have been widely used. This paper synthesizes and develops indirect field oriented control of induction motor based on hysteresis current control. Comparison of HCC and scalar control is also carried out. Comparison shows that HCC fed induction motor drive is a more stable over entire control range.

Landslide Susceptibility Zonation Study and Mapping on NH66 from Mahad to Mangoan Using QGIS

Abstract A landslide can be detetermined as the evolution of a mass of rock, debris or earth down a slope. As analysis of stability of slope is utmost importance because of vacillation of the entire soil mass and which may lead to fatality and great economic prejudice. Slope stability survey may help in future undesirable incidences and distruption in a large and important projects of civil engineering such as dams, highways and tunnels etc. Now a day there are various alternate methods used by engineers to develop land slide zonation maps for slope stability analysis, some of them are quite meticulous and while some are extravagant. Here the aim of project is to prepare land slide susceptibility zonation map of NH -66 from Mahad to Mangaon (27km) using Qgis.

Capacity Analysis of traffic on NH48 Vadodara-Bharuch

Abstract The traffic condition of populated countries and Behavior of traffic flow is unpredictable compared to established country. The vehicles static and dynamic characteristics, is depend on vehicle type, uncertain flow of vehicle is observed here. Lane discipline is not possible in this case. Most of the study on traffic flow parameter is done on homogeneous condition so gap remains as it is with respect to actual traffic condition. This results unsynchronized traffic condition. Application of homogeneous traffic coefficients in heterogeneous space has limited effect on field. This review specifies the homogeneous and heterogeneous condition of traffic.12 hours of video recording is taken for two stretches of NH48.The data is taken from video extraction. The traffic composition is taken
common for two sets of data. This attempt was made by keeping the current traffic condition in mind. The base condition for the study is taken from newly developed code Indo HCM 2017.

Abstract According to research papers in the industry mostly triangular corrugation plate type heat recharger used. In triangular corrugation plate type heat exchanger outlet temperature is not maintain. Take a practical reading of triangular corrugation plate type heat exchanger and CFD analysis of triangular corrugation plate type heat exchanger, And compare the practical reading and CFD result of triangular corrugation plate type heat exchanger, both are almost the same with minor error, Now study the sinusoidal corrugation plate type heat exchanger and CF analysis of sinusoidal corrugation plate type heat exchanger , compare the practical reading of triangular corrugation plate type heat exchanger , CFD analysis of triangular corrugation plate type heat exchanger and CFD analysis result of sinusoidal corrugation plate type heat exchanger, the sinusoidal corrugation type plate type heat exchanger gives batter results as compare to triangular corrugation plate type heat exchanger.
