UTILIZATION OF ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY AND TECHNIQUES IN ANALYSIS OF A TALL STRUCTURE

Abstract Now-a-days, the architects often prohibit the widths of the columns so that more free space is available and for the good aesthetic look of the building without columns protruding out of the walls and corners. Advances in structural members and techniques to resist lateral forces are generally used now days to pretend more stable and safe structure. In present work with the end goal to contrast fortified solid structure using traditional columns against structuredesigned with special shaped columns considering seismic loads on G+12 multi-story building having plan measurement 63.20mx29.50m m is displayed and dissected in Etab adaptation coordinated building outline programming. Proportionate static investigation and dynamic reaction range examination are performed on the structure.

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON BEHAVIOUR OF FLYASH BASED CONCRETE BY REPLACING SAND WITH M-SAND AND CEMENT WITH FLY ASH

Abstract As we know that round the world wide every developing country along with our country the global consumption of manufactured sand as an alternative for natural sand is used extensively because of high demand and scarcity of natural sand. In this regard to understand the behavior of concrete specimens with M-sand and fly ash is studied experimentally. The use of M-sand the density will be more which ultimately results in increase of Strength. The use of fly ash in concrete is desirable because of benefits such as increased workability, reduction in cement consumption and decreased permeability. The use of fly ash leads to reduction in early strength of concrete but there is increase in long term strength. This experiment investigates the strength of concrete in 7days, 28days and 56days curing period containing 0%,20%,40% & 60% of fine aggregate (Sand) replacing with M-sand and 0%,20%,40% &
60% of cementitious materials by fly ash along with Super plasticizer Hyper Fluid plus 3 Admixture is used for the grade M-45 (PSC). The concurrent use of these materials will lead to environmental and economical benefit.

ANALYSIS AND OPTIMIZATION OF MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF MARTENSITIC STAINLESS STEEL (SS410) WELDED JOINTS USING RESISTANCE SPOT WEDLING

Abstract The Primary goal of this study is to examine the mechanical properties & optimize the parameters for resistance spot welding (RSW) of martensitic stainless steel (SS410) welded joints by conducting few mechanical tests like tensile test, Hardness test& Nugget Diameter determination. The Taguchi Method was utilized for the designin of experiments. The trials were performed by using L9 Orthogonal Array with 3 different parameters & levels; proces parameters are “Electrode force, welding current & welding time”. The mode of failure will also be investigated by the analysis of the fractured samples. After all these tests & examinations, by using MINITAB 19 program; the combination of the optimum welding parameters have been decided by the Analysis of Single-to-Noise (S/N) ratio; Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is used to indicate the contribution & significance of parameters affecting the output; Regression Analysis was conducted to obtain the regression model & contour plots were also obtained from the analysis w/c are used to show the relationship b/w the parameters & the output.

A BRIEF STUDY ON CONDUCTING POLYMERS: SYNTHESIS, PROPERTIES & APPLICATIONS OF POLYANILINE & POLYPYRROLE

CHANGE IN MATERIAL REMOVAL RATE WHILE USING “MAGNETO ABRASIVE FLOW MACHINING”

Abstract In this paper, we will discuss the effect of change in material removal rate of Magneto Abrasive Flow Machining. Abrasive flow machining is a mechanized method that is surge of under pressure coarse medium to eliminate work piece substance and get better outer surface unevenness. AFM is extremely proficient and appropriate for finishing of complicated internal surfaces and hard getting in touch with surface. In the current study the consequence of variant input constraints on MRR has been explored with Taguchi analysis. An investigational study was performed on Aluminium work piece. The coarse size, characteristics of carrier, number of cycle and abrasive deliberation are main constraints that have an effect on the performance of AFM. The purpose is to study the consequence of procedure variables on material removal rate.

DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF ELEVATAD WATER TANKS

Abstract Water tanks are very important components of lifeline. They are vital component in municipal water system, fire fighting systems and in many industrial facilities for storage of water. The water tanks get heavily damaged or collapsed during earthquake due to the fluid-structure interactions; hence the seismic behaviour of tanks has the characteristics of complex phenomena. Water storage tanks ought to stay practical within the postearthquake amount to confirm potable water system to earthquake affected regions. The parametric study suggests that the elevated circular tanks perform better than elevated rectangular tanks. In the present study, a
dynamic analysis of elevated RCC water tanks design for the zone III and zone V as per Indian Standard : 1893- 2002 (Part-2) and analyzed manually as well as using the software considering all the earthquake forces. Objective of this paper is to understand the dynamic behaviour of elevated water tanks under earthquake loading.

SEISMIC ANALYSIS OF STEP BACK BUILDING ON SLOPING GROUND WITH AND WITHOUT SHEAR WALL

Abstract In this study a RCC building G+7storey with step back structure and the sloping ground in 150 is considered. A reinforced concrete structure including shear wall in the seismic analysis of structure is done by linear static analysis method. Shear walls are one of the most effective horizontal forces resisting components in multi storied structures. Structural walls give a productive efficient bracing system and offer incredible potential for lateral load resistance. In this project utilizing ETABS 2016 programming to storey displacements, storey drifts, along with tables and graphs to compare the inclining ground building with and without shear wall. Here investigated the storey displacements and storey drifts values are within permissible limits as per I.S. 1893-2016 code of practice earthquake analysis and also comparing the storey displacement and storey drifts values of sloping ground building in different
zones.
