STRENGTH PROPERTIES OF CONCRETE BY USING RED MUD AS A REPLACEMENT OF CEMENT
Palak R Patel , Prof. Jitendra B Suthar · Department of civil Engineering, L.J.I.E.T Ahmedabad, Gujarat, IN
The presence of soda in red mud when used in clinker production neutralizes the sulfur content of pet coke used in clinker-cured cement production and adds curing properties to cement. Based on economic considerations as well as environmental issues, there has been a tremendous worldwide effort to address red mud management issues - use, storage and disposal. Other routes of using red mud are known to some extent, but they have not proven economically viable or commercially feasible. Experiments were conducted under laboratory conditions to evaluate the strength characteristics of aluminum red mud. Project work focuses on the suitability of the red mud that has been obtained for construction. The five test groups consisted of 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% of the red clay substitute percentages. This paper points out another promising direction for the proper use of red mud.

and assesses the severity. This paper presents a SBCC – Software Bug Complexity Cluster using Self Organizing Maps (SOM) approach. In this SBCC a feature matrix is constructed using bug durations and software bug complexities are grouped into different clusters including Blocker, Critical, major, trivial and minor by specifying severity using two different methods, namely- k-means and SOM. The accuracy of different bug complexities are estimated using bug duration, proximity error and different distance functions. Our systematic study has ascertained that the proximity error and fitness on SOM has better accuracy and performance compared to K-Means. The collected results showed that the SBCC attained better performance with respect to fitness and cluster proximity error.

walled cold formed steel sections and the results are compared to each other. The analysis is being done on CUFSM and ABAQUS. The design strength curves will be arrived at using direct strength method. This is because cold-formed steel sections have a very high strength to weight ratio compared with thicker hot-rolled steel sections, and their manufacturing process is simple and cost-effective. In this context, a study is being made to analyze C sections with and without stiffeners to arrive at design strength criterion in compression members. In this study, the behavior of C sections with and without stiffeners under the action of axial loads has been carried out with various thickness and depths. In ABAQUS, the loads are applied on both ends. The clamped end conditions are considered

(2005a, 2005b) of bio fluid as Herschel Bulkley fluid paves the way to Mishra and Ramachandra rao(2003) to apply asymmetric channel flow to infra-uterine fluid motion in a non- pregnant uterus. The essence of this paper is about the flow of an incompressible viscous fluid in a vertical asymmetric channel under long wavelength and low Reynolds number. Further in this paper the concentration is upon transport of a conducting viscous fluid with flexible walls with asymmetry being generated by propagation of waves with same speed but with different amplitudes and phases as depicted in the physical models through graphs.
