HEALTHY MONITORING OF ADMISSIONS CONTROL WITH MULTILEVEL AUTHORITY FOR PUBLIC CLOUD STORAGE-ENVIRONMENT

Abstract Control of access to data is a difficult problem in public cloud storage systems. Cryptographic encryption (CP-ABE) was adopted as a promising way to provide control over access to flexible, reliable and secure cloud storage data with honest but colorful cloud servers. However, in the current CP-ABE schemes, the only attribute of the authority must be carried out to verify the legitimacy of the user and the timing of key distribution, which leads to suffocation and a point when the program is adopted CP-ABE in - system storage, cloud users can be caught in the queue waiting period Long time to get their keys, resulting in low system efficiency. Although motion control schemes propose multiple wills, these schemes can not yet overcome single-point bottlenecks and decrease their efficiency, due to the fact that each of the authorities continues to independently manage a set of separate attributes. In this document, we propose a new heterogeneous framework to eliminate the one-point performance bottleneck problem and provide a more efficient access control scheme with an audit mechanism. Our framework employs multiple authority authorities to share and verify the user's legitimacy. Meanwhile, in our scheme, CA (Central Authority) is provided to generate secret keys for legitimate users to verify. Unlike other multi-center access control systems, each authority in our system manages the complete set of attributes individually. To improve security, we also suggest an audit mechanism to detect any AA (attribute authority) that has incorrectly or maliciously verified the legitimacy. The analysis shows that our system not only guarantees the security requirements but also significantly improves the performance in the generation of keys.

Some of the issues associated to parking are congestion, delay, accident, pollution etc. It has an effect on transport development. The availability of less space in city areas has increased demand for parking space especially in central business area. The Aim of the study was to investigate the existing condition of parking. & also collect the behaviour response from the travellers. In city areas parking causes more and more problems which need a goal-oriented and well-organized parking policy. license plate method will conducted for collecting the data of existing conditions for improving services. But based on the present parking demand in the study area long duration parking management can also be proposed, such as provision of Surface Parking.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON EFFECT OF SODIUM SILICATE AND SODIUM HYDROXIDE ON CONCRETE ON REPLACINIG CEMENT BY GGBS AND FLY ASH

Abstract In this present Experimental investigation two types of concrete are prepared and studied in both the types of concrete the cement is completely replaced by GGBS and FLY ASH at (40%,60%,80%,100%) and (60%,40%,20%,100%) respectively. But in type 2 concrete the sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide solution were added at ratio 2.5. The sodium hydroxide used was of molarity 12 (12M) and the LIQUID TO BINDER RATIO was 0.5. Among two types of concrete prepared one being prepared considering economical parameters (type1) and the other being prepared considering strength parameters (type2). Compressive, flexural and split Tensile strength were optimum for the mix proportion where cement was replaced by 100%GGBS and 0% Fly Ash.

Abstract To judge the performance of students in advanced education has now become a great challenge not only in academic but in curriculum activities as well. In this manner, it is important to adequately analyze the data which is utilized for educating and learning processes. Mining data from educational dataset helps to extract useful information for enhancing the teaching and learning abilities. This survey presents the overview of various Data Mining Techniques in terms of advanced education as a new research domain known as educational data mining (EDM) for foreseeing the execution behavior of the students and to find out the reasons behind their failures. The intended review of literature is assessed to briefly evaluate the work done in educational field. Through this task, we extract those factors that describe student's attainments and discover those ones who require special concern by introducing various data mining methods which assimilate classification, clustering, regression, prediction and so forth.

ENHANCEMENT OF SOIL PROPERTIES BY USING BONE ASH & SODIUM CHLORIDE

Abstract As per agricultural purposes, soil can be defined as the uppermost layer of earth’s surface on which many types of plant grow, we also cultivate these crops. A black or dark brown material typically consisting of a mixture of organic remains, clay and rock particles are called soil. The lower portion of earth’s crust which supports the foundations and carries various loads is called hard rock or strata. As far as engineering purposes is concerned, soil may be defined as the mixture of minerals, aggregates, organic matter etc. It may be loose or cohesive. Soil stabilization is the technique of varying the properties of soil by changing the gradation through mixing with chemicals to increase its strength & durability. Generally, various soil failures occurs due to poor shear strength. Hence to overcome such type of failures, cattle bone ash & sodium chloride are used as stabilizer to improve the shear strength of soils. The important tests which are performed are Standard Proctor Test (S.P.T) and Direct Shear Test (D.S.T). The Standard Proctor Test (S.P.T) is performed so as to obtain a graph between Optimum Moisture Content (O.M.C) and Maximum Dry Density (M.D.D). After getting the Maximum Dry Density (M.D.D), Direct Shear Test & Permeability Test are performed to get the required strength so as to bear various loads.

A REVIEW ON STRENGTHENING OF STEEL BUILT-UP BEAM WITH CFRP WRAPPING

Abstract The experiment tests are conducted on hot rolled steel built-up beams on channel section with simply supported beam with one plate is connected on the top of the channel section. In this work, two ways of strength improvement is done by using carbon fibre reinforced polymer, one is flange strengthening and another is cross sectional strengthening. Tests are conducted on flange strengthening and cross sectional strengthening. The experimental beams are of lateral bracing in steel structures and steel storage tanks. In this work seven different types of strengthening configuration were used with two approaches. The final results shows that flange strengthening approach does not give good strength compared to control specimen in retrofitting of open cannel section with longer span, modified cross sectional improvement gave higher flexural strength. Increase in number of carbon fibre reinforced polymer layer wrinkling can be prevented

DATA DEPLOYMENT WITH BROAD AUDITING ON INTEGRITY IN CLOUDS

Abstract Cloud storage structure make accessible facilitative file storage and sharing services for circulated customers. To address integrity, controllable deployment and origin auditing apprehension on deployed files, we recommend a Data Deployment with Broad Auditing (DDBA) project provision with striking highlights over existing commendation in protecting deployed data. First, our DDBA method makes possible a client to approve intermediaries to transfer information to cloud storage server on his/her e.g., an organization may approve some workers to transfer documents to the company’s cloud account in a regulated way. The proxies are distinguished and approved with their recognizable identities, which wipes out the complicated certificate management in secure distributed computing systems. Second, our DDBA project enable comprehensive auditing, i.e., our project permits regular integrity auditing for securing deployed data, but also allows to audit the information on data origin, type and consistence of deployed files. Security analysis and assessment demonstrate that our DDBA project provides strong security with desirable efficiency.

IMPROVEMENT OF THE SHEAR STRENGTH OF SOIL BY USING GLASS FIBRE

Abstract Nowadays, soil strengthening is not a innovative idea; it was worn since ancient period to enhance the shear strength of soil. We know that, in ancient period, human were constructing dams which consists of mud reinforcement with grasses, tree trunks and stones to make sure the better depth in shallow streams. This material has capability to control the freezing of water in winter. The term plysoil has originated from fibre reinforced soil which consists of material obtained by adding randomly distributed discrete fibres to soil (RDFS). The methodused for fibre addition in soil, is general and similar to soil stabilization. The major compensations of randomly distributed discrete fibres be the ease in mixing and also maintaining the power of reinforced soil during extensive period of time. The reinforced soil be able to favourably used in civil engineering projects for improving the techniques related to soil, these techniques are used for providing sharp differences of level between two horizontal platforms, the horizontal platforms are providing on sloping ground, as quay walls, as bridge abutments, subgrade/sub-base and related to other problems. Glass which is an unbreakable material is used in todays world to enhance the shear strength of soil in adverse locations. Glass fibre is a non biodegradable material and it provides stability to reinforced soil. In present study, the physical properties of three different types of soils are as plastic limit, liquid limit, plasticity index, dry density, optimum moisture content etc. Addition of glass fibre having lengths 10 mm, 15 m and 20 mm to the soil with three different fibre content i.e. 0.5%, 1.0% and 1.5%,the mix of soil and glass fibre has done by hand and prepare homogenous mix with proper care. Then direct shear test has performed on both unreinforced and reinforced soil to study the behaviour of soil which is reinforced with glass fibre. After learn the results which clearly shows that the glass fibre used with increase in length and also fibre content increases the shear strength parameters of soil successfully.

NON-LINEAR DYNAMIC TIME HISTORY ANALYSIS OF UNDERGROUND RECTANGULAR TUNNEL

Abstract In the present paper study of non-linear dynamic analysis of underground rectangular tunnel considering different seismic intensities is carried out and seismic responses of such structure are studied. The tunnel under consideration is modelled with the help of SAP2000 software. The two different time histories (i)El-Centro earthquake (ii)Nepal earthquake have been used. The results of the study show similar variations pattern in Seismic responses such as displacement, velocity and acceleration with intensities (Mw = 6.9) and (Mw=7.8). From the study it is recommended that analysis of underground rectangular tunnel using Time History method becomes necessary to ensure safety against earthquake force. The analysis is performed to compute the displacement and internal force in tunnels that took place in each phase of construction and loading. The earthquake loads are applied to the tunnels during operation.

But the problem arises after cultivating the process after that is manual and consume a lot of time. In India 65% of families do farm practice for the living. In few years later if we compare our India than other nations in terms of production rate the we realized India is certainly lagging. In present time the agricultural scenario of manual method of seed bow, low crop yield and serious backache for the farmer which limits the size of field can be planted. Now a days, the cost price of agriculture tractor increasing day by day which creates problem to farmer to purchase tractor. So, to overcome from these factor a study has been carried out to develop multipurpose agriculture machine for performing major agricultural operations like- bow seeds, goods carrying, water filling and levelling to increase the efficiency and reduce production cost of farmer. This vehicle is named as KISSAN all in one which consists various agricultural implements which can be easily assembled and disassembled by single person only.

EVALUATION OF PROPERTIES OF CONCRETE USING RICE HUSK ASH AND POLYPROPYLENE FIBRE

Abstract In today’s world, the construction activities are increasing gradually. And in construction industry concrete has a very important role. So the studies should be done in order to improve properties of concrete. The various industrial waste like fly ash, rice husk ash, silica fume etc. possess approximately similar properties of cement. So it is very reasonable to replace the cement partially with these waste materials to make the concrete cost effective and more durable. Also various fibres like polypropylene fibre, steel fibre, glass fibre
etc. should be used to increase the concrete properties. In this study, the effect of replacing the cement with RHA and addition of polypropylene fibre has been studied. The percentage of RHA is 10% by weight of cement and that of polypropylene is 0.2%, 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8%, 1.0% by weight of cement. M35 grade of concrete is used in this study.

“ANALYSIS OF TUBE IN TUBE STRUCTURES WITH DIFFERENT SIZE OF INNER TUBE”

Abstract Over the past few years the utilization of tube structural systems as structural systems for high tall buildings or tall structures has become common. Various types of tubular structural systems which are currently present in practical are as framed tube, tube in tube and bundled tube structural systems, in which the tube in tube structural system is commonly adopted one. Formation of a tube in tube structure is by connecting outer framed tube to inner tube by floor slab. It acts like a large tube (Peripheral tube) with a smaller tube(inner core tube) at centre of it. These tube structural systems improves the structural stability of structure or buildings and as well increases the utilization of floor spacing. In this project, a comparative study of tube in tube structure with different size of inner tube is done to find most efficient size of inner tube in order to maximize the lateral resistance of the combined system. From the comparison of results we got tube in tube structure with larger inner tube shows better lateral resistance compared medium and small size inner tube.

STUDY ON MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR OF BORON CARBIDE AND RICE HUSK ASH BASED ALUMINIUM ALLOY 6061 HYBRID COMPOSITE

Abstract This present research study based on fabrication of Aluminium Alloy (AA) 6061 based composite for aerospace applications.AA6061 composite was fabricated by bottom pouring stir casting machine. The hybrid reinforcements used were Boron carbide (B4C) and Rice Husk Ash (RHA). The fabrication was done at different wt% of B4C and RHA. The Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was used to study the surfaces of developed composite. The Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) was used to confirm the proper dispersion of reinforcement in Pure AA 6061. The mechanical property of resultant composite studied was Hardness. All mechanical testing were done according to ASTM standards. The sharp increase in hardness was observed during addition of B4C as compare to addition of RHA. The highest hardness was observed at 5% B4C along with 5% RHA.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT FOR THE STATIC ANALYSIS OF SHORT FIBER COMPOSITES WITH SPHERICAL INCLUSIONS

Abstract Analysis of composite materials, especially the estimation of elastic properties is a tedious job considering the number of parameters that govern the behaviour of materials. Hence automation of variation of this variable is suggested. In the present work, a FE based interface tool named VTUMAT is developed. VTUMAT at present interfaces with Abaqus/Standard for generating the RVE of the composite material and for visualising the stress and strains induced in the RVE*. The accuracy of VTUMAT is verified by comparing the results obtained from it with the result of Rule of Mixture. It is found that VTUMAT results match closely with the theoretical results.

Abstract One of the disadvantages of the conventional concrete is the high self weight of concrete. Many attempts have been made in the past to reduce the self weight of concrete along with increase the efficiency of concrete as a structural material. In this investigation an attempt is made to study the strength properties of modified M20 grade concrete with replacement of natural coarse aggregates with varying percentages of Light expandable clay aggregates (LECA) i.e, 25, 50, 75 and 100%. After 28 days various tests are carried out on the modified concrete i.e., compressive strength test, split tensile strength, flexural strength test, modulus of elasticity, in-plane shear strength through mode-II fracture test, and those results are compared. The results are observed to be quite satisfactory.

UPGRADATION OF PROPERTIES OF CLAYEY SOIL USING CALCIUM CHLORIDE AND PINE NEEDLES

Plants, thatch and other natural fibers being used for the construction of the houses as reinforced materials, which is helpful to avoid fracture in masonry resources. The size of the particles of clay soil is very small as compared to other varieties of soil because of their size single particle of this soil is not visible by naked eye it is visible under electron micro scope. Therefore at very less space huge amount of particles can exist and the void ratio among them is also very small due to their fineness. Clayey Soil present moderately a few confronts to the geo technical engineer because it impersonate troubles associated to cracks, stability, settlements and swellings. For enhancing the property of this type of soil needles of pines and calcium chloride being used to solve the problem. Different types of test were done on index properties, compaction characteristics and soil reinforced with pine needles and calcium chloride and CBR value of the Parent soil. The observation was that there was reduction in the dry density with the accumulation of pine needles and OMC increases of the parent soil. 1. 92mg/cc was the value of the dry density of parent soil, with the accumulation of 0.7 % of pines it decreases to 1.81mg/cc, with the increase of pine needles from 0.7 % to 1.4 % the value of dry density reduces to 1.75mg/cc and the final with the increase in the value of pines to 2.1 % the dry density was reduces to 1.56 mg/cc. As outlying OMC was worried, the value of it increases with increasing in amount of pines in soil, when the percentage of pine was 0 % OMC was 12.95 and for 0.7 % pines OMC value was 16.20 and at 1.4 % of pines in soil the value of OMC was observed to be 14.45 and at last the value of 2.1 % of pines addition, gives OMC value 11.95. This increase in OMC and MDD be chiefly because of flocculation between clay particles and pine needles, consequently the outcome was of ascend in percentage of pines needles, pore void size also increases, that result in enhanced water holding capacity of soil accumulation and while the outcome there is increase in the moisture content. For preventing the restraint 4 % calcium Chloride be accumulated to soil in adding up to Pine needles. It was observed that optimum percentage meant for soil to stay stable in  significance to all its compaction properties like dry density, void ratio, OMC. The optimum percentage of mutually pine and calcium chloride be observed to be 0.7% and 4 % respectively. At 0 % pine needles as well as 4 % Calcium Chloride soil , maximum dry density was equivalent to 1.91 gm/cc as well as optimum Moisture Content was 4.95 gm/cc, with adding 0.7 % lime to this model maximum dry density increased to 2.08 mg/cc and OMT reduces to 5.45%. Various tests were carried out on 1.4 % pines and 4 % calcium chloride and 2.1 % pines and 4 % calcium chloride as it is understood from the fact that the dry density from here on will increase and as a result void ratio be negative which obviously should not happen. Since calcium chloride alone is not effectively sufficient to improve properties of soil. So pines were added beside being economical by reducing earth pressure, pines imparts ductility to soil, which would not have been possible alone by calcium chloride. Also pine alone does not have great impact on compaction properties. Combination of both at 0.7 % pines and 4 % calcium have been found to be best for soil. Beside the above mentioned properties on adding pines to the clayey soil it was found that CBR value increases a little bit but not to a great extent from 6.50 % for unreinforced soil to 7.73% and 8.84 % respectively by adding 0.7 % pines and 1.4%pines respectively. However at 2.1 % pines addition, CBR decreases from 8.84 % to 7.87%clearly indicating that as far as CBR is concerned optimum percentage of pines is 1.4 % by weight of soil after that CBR decreases. So to increase CBR value Calcium Chloride was added and was noted that significant increase in CBR value of Soil takes place that is to 13.52 from 8.84 % at 1.4 % pines and that of 6.50 % for untreated soil. Thus it can be concluded from above discussion it can be concluded that Combination of both calcium chloride and Pine needles in soil improves Both MDD and CBR value at certain percentages, hence this type of soil which is reinforced with these materials can be used for various purposes as various limitations like low strength, Water content in soil swelling properties etc have been encountered.

Soil stabilization is becoming most important now a day to reduce fatal effects. In my research soil has been taken from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, after digging 2-3 meters. The prime purpose of soil stabilization is to build strength than that of original material. In my thesis sugarcane bagasse ash, cement and plastic fibers mixed with clay soil to check the strength of soil. First of all sieve analysis was done, after that we conducted a series of tests to obtain Liquid Limit, Plastic Limit and Specific Gravity. Then, the soil will be investigated by conducting Standard Proctor Test (S.P.T.) for Maximum Dry Density (M.D.D.), the values of optimum dry density and their corresponding Optimum Moisture Content (O.M.C.) were continuously studied and a graph was prepared between them. After conducting Standard Proctor Test (S.P.T.), California Bearing Ratio Test (C.B.R.) was performed to know about the variation of the strength with different percentages of bagasse ash and plastic fibres and then a graph was plotted. All the tests which are mentioned above are performed according to Indian Standards

ADDITION OF RBI-81 WITH GEOTEXTILES IN SUBGRADE TO STRENGTHEN SOIL FOR BITUMINOUS PAVEMENTS

Abstract In the past 20 years, many new road improvement techniques have revolved around the use of geosynthetics. In India, most of the flexible pavements are need to be constructed over weak sub-grade having low modulus values. The California bearing ratio (CBR) of these sub-grade soils has very low, resulting in more thickness of the road crust. Replacing of these existing weak sub-grade soil may not be good option, thus it is required to stabilize these weak subgrade soil with suitable stabilizer. Geosynthetics have been found to be a cost effective alternative to improve the weak sub-grade soils in adverse locations. In this study, firstly the various properties of soil sample like grain size analysis, liquid limit, plastic limit, plasticity index & identification of soil has been evaluated and then CBR values of these soils have been improved using geotextiles. Non-Woven geotextiles are placed at different layers of various soil samples, and then a series of California Bearing Ratio (CBR) tests were conducted to evaluate the strength of the subgrade soil. It was observed that the CBR value increases, when the non-woven geotextile are placed at different layers of various soil sample. From this study, single layer of non-woven geotextiles is introduced at the depth of 0.85H from the bottom of the mould shows better performance than those samples with the geotextiles layer are placed at other depths. In this study, the flexible pavement have been designed for both fatigue and rutting life of 100MSA at 90% and 80% reliability, when the non-woven geotextile are placed at three different depths of subgrade soil samples. The critical strain value for both fatigue and rutting life are analysed by programme IITPAVE software and are less than the allowable strain values as computed by IRC: 37-2012.

Scilab is open source free software. Scilab’s ability to plot 2D and 3D graphs helps in visualizing the data effectively. Scilab’s capabilities make it an excellent tool for teaching, especially those subjects that involve matrix operations. Hence the students can use the software for solving the engineering problems and can learn programming skills. Also new modules can be developed on top of the existing modules thereby decreasing the development time. So the present paper entitled “Analysis of Plane Frames by Matrix Method using Scilab” is carried out. In this paper, phosphogypsum is used as an admixture and lime is used as additive to stabilize the marine clay, thereby improving its strength, deformation and swell characteristics. Systematic and methodological process was followed involving experimentation in the laboratory under controlled conditions to study the cyclic pressures of untreated and treated marine clay as subgrade for flexible pavements.

IMPACTS OF LAND USE LAND COVER ON SURFACE RUNOFF: A CASE STUDY OF UPPER MALAPRABHA BASIN

Abstract The main efforts of this study is to understand the land use land cover change impacts on the runoff. Land use land cover impacts on the basin hydrology can be assessed by combining the influence of land use land cover changes on water resources in the catchment. The study was carried out on Upper Malaprabha Basin. Remote sensing and geographic information system technologies proved to be a very effective means of detecting the changes in land use land cover patterns. ArcMap 10.1 is used as the user interface for detecting the changes by the process of image classification. The image classification was carried out for the years 2002 and 2009. The results of image classification reflected that the forest area decreased by 49.4%, water bodies have seen raise of 1.6%, urban settlements increased by 57.1%, agriculture lands have also increased by 25.8%. Whereas the agricultural plantation and barren land have declined by 97% and 51.7% respectively. To study the impacts of the above land use land cover changes on runoff the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model was used. The simulation was carried out for the study area incorporating the prepared LULC maps. The calibrated and validated model reflected the R2 value to be above 0.7 and proved to be satisfactory. The average runoff in the years 1992 to 2002 was 38 m3 /sec and for the years the average runoff was 30.4 m3 /sec. The average flow trends reflect that there is decrease of about 7.6 m3 /sec in runoff. The reasons for decrease in runoff is majorly due to increase in agriculture area, water body and decrease in barren lands

Abstract Clayey soil is also known as cohesive soil due to the strong intermolecular forces present between its particles. But many times for various engineering purposes the soil does not have required properties and does not match the desired standards, in such cases the soil properties need to be upgraded. Enhancement of soil properties can be achieved by stabilising the weak soil by various mechanical and chemical methods. In this study Brick Kiln Dust and Calcium Chloride are used in order to stabilize the weak soil and achieve desired strength. Various soil samples were prepared by adding brick kiln dust and calcium chloride in varying proportions and the samples prepared were tested to determine the strength of soil. The results achieved showed that by adding brick kiln dust and calcium chloride the strength of soil can be enhanced to match the desired standards. As the brick kiln dust is a waste material from, the kiln, addition of the dust proves economic. Various tests performed in this study were Liquid limit, Plastic limit, Unconfined compression test, California bearing ratio test and Free swell index test

Abstract Increase in productivity, consistently has become the sole aim of Engineers of concerned Technical Industries along with the welfare of Environment. In order to increase the efficiency of the process it is pre-requisite to identify optimal machining parameters. The effect of machining process parameters is correlated to achieve desired performance features of the machined product. This project is to present an effective method for the determination of optimal machining parameters in turning operation of heat treated beryllium copper alloy. To obtain the optimal cutting parameters, experiment is designed to minimize the surface roughness, cutting force along with the maximization of metal removal rate. Heat treated beryllium copper alloys have good mechanical and electrical properties. This work is extended to multi criteria optimization, design of matrix and ANOVA analysis is prepared by response surface methodology which results to an effective model to analyse the effect of each parameter on output. The input parameters used in this work are speed, feed, depth of cut, nose radius, workpiece material (hardened and untreated)

This paper delineates a structure for mining profitable patterns using rough set theory followed by association rule mining algorithm and optimizing the results using Elephant Herding Optimization (EHO) algorithm. EHO is comparatively a new swarm intelligence metaheuristic algorithm that imitates the collective behavior of species from nature. The proposed approach generates profitable patterns (optimized) which will be advantageous for decision making in business. The obtained results are compared with the genetic algorithm which shows that EHO produces the most optimal (profitable) patterns as well as in a reduced time.

Buildings having open ground storey are undesirable in seismically active areas as depicted by past earthquakes such as San Fernando 1971, Northridge 1994, Kobbe1995, Bhuj India 2001.Also the past studies have been done on open ground storeys without taking the orientation of columns into
consideration. In this study, the objective is to check the best orientation of rectangular columns in a G+8 building with open ground storey which is a Soft Storey by observing the displacements, drift and Stiffness of the various models in X and Y direction. For this purpose, six models are created having different orientation of rectangular columns viz Model CCO (corner columns oriented), Model ECO (Exterior columns oriented), Model ACO (All columns oriented), Model ECOEC (External columns oriented excluding corner ones), Model AICO(All interior columns oriented) and the displacement, drift and stiffness of these models are compared . A reference model known as Model BM is considered for the study in which the stiffness and strength of the infill wall is not taken into account. The displacement, drift and stiffness of all the five models are compared to the reference model and it is observed that Model CCO has
least difference in the displacement, drift and stiffness in X and Y direction. Hence the Model CCO is preferred.

Objective of the present study is to simulate the hydraulic model using EPANET 2.0, for an accurate result analysis. Importance of this study is that unless a proper hydraulic model is prepared, it is not possible to convert old intermittent system into a continuous system. The whole area of Jodhpur is divided in to 5 District Metered Area (DMA) of which one area is used for the pilot project study. The approach adopted is to work from Part to Whole. Various input data of population, elevation, length of pipe, demand of water in the area etc were collected from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. The output results of pressure, discharge and velocity of water at various junctions and links of the pipes were obtained. It was analyzed, that water distribution system maintains minimum
pressure of 17m to meet rising demand of area and continuous water supply. The study concluded that, as the elevation of the pipe increases pressure reduces that can be observed with the contour plot and graphical representation

The flow through soils is based on conventional experiment performed by Darcy who acquainted experimentally determined constant called coefficient of permeability. This constant is obviously reflective of the permeability of a certain medium to a certain fluid, and it depends on the properties of both the porous medium and pervade
fluid. For the penetrable medium it is the size of the channels in the void network that is of key importance, and this depends on the representative grain size diameter, the gradation factor delineating the shape of grain size distribution curve, the shape factor of the grains and the porosity of the medium. Among the fluid properties viscosity and density of fluids are of key importance. In the present study, permeability measurements were taken using sands of different sizes as the pervade mediums. The pervade fluids that
were employed were pure water (tap water) and salt (NaCl) solutions of different concentrations (5g/l to 71g/l). Six different sands S1 to S6 were used which were classified on the basis of their increasing representative sizes 0.12mm,0.15mm,0.18mm,0.20mm,0.22mm and 0.25mm respectively. To rule out the effects due to temperature differences and fluid flow duration through sands, the permeability results were standardized at 20°C and the discharge readings were taken after two hours of the establishment of steady
conditions respectively. It was observed that the permeability increased with increase in the concentration of salt solution. Also effect on the density, viscosity and dielectric constant were also analyzed

The vehicle should suddenly breakdown the roadside; the electronic components are shown the fault DTC’s (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) in the car dashboard. These DTC’s will help the technician to understand the fault and easily diagnose with the help of vehicle diagnosis programming scan tools. When a faults occurs in a vehicle for every time to take the vehicles to go nearest workshops, it is very difficult and most expensive process. Generally the mechanics can charge more money (lack of awareness) to each DTC codes separately for the troubleshooting of the faults. In some cases one DTC troubleshoot can diagnose the group DTC’s. So, we can buy a normal scanner for detecting the simple DTC’s in a vehicle and to eliminate the un-necessary replacement of the spare parts. In this paper provides some group DTC’s analysis working examples and also gives a better knowledge about the scanning and diagnosis. So, finally this project will help to reduce the cost and time factor of the faults in a vehicle with the help of OBD-II (ON-BOARD DIAGNOSIS-II).

For the fabrication of hybrid composite simple and cost effective fabrication technique was used i.e. vacuum stir casting. Hard SiC and solid lubricant graphite particles were reinforced. Sliding wear test was carry out at Pin on disc setup at different loads (20,30,40N), graphite content (3,5,8 wt%), and sliding distance (500,1000,1500m). An L9 orthogonal array, was used for identify the effect of each control factor and their percentage contribution. It was examined that optimum value for coefficient of friction was obtained at 5%graphite (G2), 30N load (L1) and 500 m sliding distance (D1)

The basic theoretical research of liquid-pneumatic transmission, the performance analysis and inspection of liquid-pressure products, and the operation status of testing equipment are all inseparable from the testing of various parameters of the liquid-pneumatic system. The hydraulic pressure test is the basis for realizing hydraulic automatic control. The feedback of signals such as pressure, speed and flow is the basis for calculating the control output. This article mainly introduces the experimental projects of multiple liquid-air element loops and the development of the test bench control platform based on LabVIEW graphical programming software. The test stand can complete the data acquisition and analysis and real-time monitoring of the hydraulic pump, proportional relief valve and proportional directional valve, and achieve real-time monitoring of various parameters in the experimental oil circuit

The natural water content of the marine clay is always greater than its liquid limit. The properties of marine clay differ
significantly in moist and dry conditions. Due to the poor engineering characteristics of these marine clay soil deposits causes several problems in pavement design and has potential to destroy building foundations in almost all the countries. Many of these areas covered with thick soft marine clay deposit, with very low shear strength and high compressibility. In this present study the consolidation characteristics i.e., coefficient of consolidation, compression index and rate of consolidation of untreated and treated marine clay were determined by adding Silica Fume as admixture and also with chemicals i.e. ammonium chloride, potassium chloride and ferric chloride.

PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF FLYASH WITH GGBFS AND GNSA IN FLY ASH BASED GEOPOLYMER CONCRETE

The construction industry enhancing alternate binders too fully or partially to downgrade environmental pollution with supplements like fly ash, rice husk ash, GNSA, silica fumes, GGBFS, and meta kaoline etc., Fly ash is produced in huge volume from the combustion of coal in thermal power plants. The GGBFS is the remnant after manufacturing of steel in the steel manufacturing industries. The groundnut shell ash was obtained from ground nut shells which are the by-product of groundnut processing and as wastage which is used in small-scale boiler units in the manufacturing process of products the ground nutshell is used as fuel in large quantity to produce thermal energy. The expenditure of landfills amounts can be diminished by utilizing the plush siliceous material as a supplement in manufacturing concrete. The GGBFS, Fly ash, and GNSA are rich in silica content which will react with the alkali solutions chemically. Experiments were demeanour on fly ash based geo polymer concrete specimens of standard sizes with surrogate of various percentages of GNSA i.e., 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% and constant percentage of GGBFS i.e., 10% by weight of fly ash in fly ash based geo polymer concrete. The alkaline liquids sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) of 10M concentration utilized, and results were compared with those of plain fly ash based geo polymer concrete. For each percentage of GNSA and
GGBFS added in geo polymer concrete, 9 specimens were tested for their respective mechanical properties at ambient curing periods of 7 days, 28 days and 60 days. The change in mechanical strength of geo polymer concrete i.e., Split tensile strength, Compressive strength, and Flexural strength is determined and analysed. The results obtained show us that the optimum content of GNSA and GGBFS to be added in combination to fly ash based geo polymer concrete is 5% and 10% to the weight of fly ash, and consequently there has been a significant increase in Split tensile  strength, compressive strength, and Flexural strength of geo polymer concrete.

Further a new CTSP was proposed in which each city had one to all salesmen’s colors and formulated its integer programming model. VNS was addressed for CTSP. CTSP was examined and newly called
S-CTSP. The basic scheduling problems of MBMS was modeled by S-CTSP. Then DTSP was addressed and ACObased memetic Algorithm was proposed. A new class of discretization based look-ahead algorithms (DLAAs) for the Dubins travelling salesperson problem (DTSP) was presented. Then transformation of the multi-region inspection into a clustered travelling salesman problem (CTSP) developed a fast branch-and-bound CTSP solver .A new CTSP was proposed in which each city has one to all salesmen’s colors and formulates its integer programming model

Aluminium alloy (AA) 7075 is soft and light material mostly used metal matrix composite as it has high stiffness, low density and easy fabricate. AA-7075 is mostly used in aerospace applications due to its flexibility and light weight. It is also used in mold tool manufacture, biomedicals etc. AA-7075 is used as matrix material whereas graphite and silicon carbide are used as the reinforcement materials. Stir casting technique is used for the fabrication of composites in the present work. The factorial design is used to decide the number of samples to be fabricated by stir casting. The weight percent (wt.%) of graphite and silicon is decided based on the review literature. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis is used to characterize the AA-7075 metal matrix composite. Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) is used to analyze the composition of the specimen fabricated. The mechanical behaviour is determined by hardness test, compression test and tensile test. The results obtained from experiments are analyzed by
using ANOVA in design expert.The maximum hardness is obtained 99 HV at 4 wt.% of SiC, similarly maximum tensile strength is recorded as 245 MPa at 4 wt.% of SiC. The maximum compressive strength of composite is recorded as 488 MPa at 4 wt.% of Gr with 4 wt.% of SiC

Abstract Concrete plays an important role in the construction industry. High strength concrete (HSC) has been widely used in civil engineering in recent years. This is because most of the mechanical & durability properties of these types of concretes are better than those of normal conventional concrete. The present investigation is on the effect of the addition of steel fibers (ST) & polypropylene fibers (PP) to the high strength concrete for estimating the mechanical & durability properties. Different percentages of hooked end steel fibers with 15mm length & 1%, 1.5% and 2% of weight fractions were used. Polypropylene fibers with 12 mm length & 0.25, 0.35, 0.45 of volume fractions were used. The mix design is carried out for M70 grade concrete. The 10% silica fume (SF) is replaced by weight of cement. Tests like compressive strength, flexural strength & split tensile strength are carried out for mechanical properties and also tests like RCPT, percentage of voids and water absorption are carried out for the durability properties.

MICROWAVE ASSISTED ONEPOT SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF BENZOXAZOLE CONTAINING MULTI SUBSTITUTED 1,2,3-TRIAZOLES

Abstract Developing a new method for the synthesis of highly functionalized 1,2,3-triazoles encouraged us to test the three-component reactions between 2-(benzo[d]oxazol-2-ylsulfonyl)-1- phenylethanone (14), benzyl bromide and sodium azide with the base under microwave condition. Herein, we would like to describe an efficient method for obtaining 1,4,5-trisubstituted-1,2,3-triazoles (Scheme 1). Our initial investigation was started with one pot [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of benzyl bromide, sodium azide and 2-(benzo[d]oxazol-2-ylsulfonyl)-1-phenylethanone (14) by following the previously reported literature condition24. However, the reaction did not proceed and the desired product 16a was not obtained (Table 1, entry 1). The same reaction was carried out above 80 oC temperature condition by using triethylamine (5 and 10 mol %) (15a) as catalyst the products were obtained in low yield (Table 1, entry 2). Our investigation of 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e and 15f as the catalysts showed that 15d (5 mol %) was optimal (Table 1, entries 3- 7). When the same reaction was carried out under microwave irradiation resulted in the generation of the desired product 16a in an excellent yield (Table 1, entry 8). It was also found that the loadings of catalyst could be increased to 10 mol% almost without affecting the yield of the desired products (Table 1, entry 9). Thus, the combination of 5 mol% of 15d in the presence of DMSO under microwave irradiation was the optimal reaction conditions. The compounds were further confirmed by spectral analysis data

Abstract PSV means polished stone value. The PSV test method is widely used throughout the world to measure the resistance of the anti-slip device. This is more important evidence that you can create an aggregate if you want to use it as a road surface. If an aggregate polish too much under the polishing effect of vehicle tires the road surface becomes very skidder, especially when wet and the number of skidding accidents can increase. This paper illustrate study is carried out on different type of aggregate in order to cater the need of varying climatic conditions prevailing in India and amount of traffic increasing in India and to determine the impact on skid resistance of aggregate. Thus different types of aggregates were randomly taken from the different quarry from the construction site, then the sample was prepared according to the IS code and IS specifications. The main objective of this, was to determine that for
different type of aggregate there is different value of PSV and PSV depends not only on the aggregates exposed but also the quality of the aggregate, size of aggregate, strength. Thus, four types of aggregates were randomly taken from the different quarry from the construction site, then the samples were prepared according to the IS specifications. After preparing the samples all the four different types of aggregates with different size of aggregate were assessed using standard PSV test and three alternative variations
using the same equipment. These variations include use of coarse emery only, fine emery only and extended duration of polishing. Further these variations were tested under dry and wet conditions. For highway engineers, it would be valuable to be able to predict the long-term skid resistance of bituminous surfaces before the pavement was constructed & that’s why PSV should be known. Higher the test result, more polish resistance the aggregate is. In designing road engineer specifies the minimum value of PSV that the aggregate used in the surface has to have. The minimum value depends on volume and type of traffic using the road. For different aggregates, value of PSV is different. Also proves that PSV depends not only on the aggregates exposed but also the quality of the aggregate, volume of traffic, strength

was manufactured by using Forged steel, and structural steel. In this review introducing some more alloy steel materials, for finding better one. Initially the bed diameter of hook is taken from the Winkler-bach's formulae of curved beam theory. Then remaining Specifications (Parameters)hook considered approximate values for safe design of hook for the load of 225KN and 250 KN.

Abstract The application of CAD/CAM in design optimization of agricultural cultivator on the basis of finite element method and simulation method is done by using UG-software for the structural analysis. The weight and strength of agricultural cultivator a compromising is required in the productivity of soils. There are mainly three different soils red soils, loam soils and black soils are present in our areas.
The soil conditions were taken to model a better cultivator tool section in tractor-implement systems. Modifications are required in the existing cultivator for making flexibilities in width of the tools between them. And select hollow section for reducing the total weight of cultivator to improve fuel economy. In my modal 4 number of ductile cast iron hollow rectangular sections for tool, having length
350 mm and thickness 6 mm. The tools were fixed one is to back frame and other is to front frame with two plates by nut and bolt joints. The widths in between the tools were varied and total length of the cultivator is 790 mm, fixed frame is cast iron material for optimization the cost parameter (Ductile cast iron: Rs30/kg, steel: Rs45/kg, alloy steel (40nimocr10-4): Rs80/kg). Ductile cast iron was chosen for better in failure predictions, though it’s strength is not enough compared to steels but, this materials are better in the black
and loam sands that are not enough stiff in top layers. The seed and fertilizer tubes were also fixed in such a way that the modified section implements such facilities to farmers

Abstract The ‘Code of Practice for General Construction in Steel – IS 800’ was revised in the year 2007. The previous version of the code was released in the year 1984. It took 23 years for the revision of the code. During these years, there was a huge leap in the design philosophy of steel structures. The method of design changed from the ‘working stress method’ to the ‘limit state method’. This change was captured in the new revision that became available in the year 2007. It also captured the need for seismic design in a
detailed manner that was non-existent in the previous revisions of the code. These requirements are mentioned in the section 12 of IS 800 – 2007; ‘Design and Detailing for Earthquake loads’. Some of the requirements are found to have a large impact on the design of structures. The new clauses specify different and stringent requirements for bracing members, connections, etc. As a result, there is an
increase in the quantity of steel consumed. The quantity consumed as a part of connections has also increased. The present study intends to look critically at the provisions mentioned in the Section 12 of IS 800 – 2007, analyse the feasibility and practicality of using these clauses in design and understand the impact that it has on the quantities vis-à-vis the working stress method of design which has been prevalent

The optimization of the hybrid energy system (HES) components using fuzzy logic algorithm and Hybrid optimization model for multiple energy resources (HOMER 3.11.6) pro software have been carried out. The ideal outcome is accomplished as for the minimization of the cost of energy (COE) over a lifetime of 20 years with different sensitivity parameters.

Flexural behaviour of RCC beam reinforcement with GFRP bar and steel bar

Abstract The experimental study of flexural behaviour of RCC beams reinforcement with glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) bars and steel bars. A total four RCC beams were tested. The size of beam is (1.5x0.15x0.15) m. Two beams were used reinforcement as GFRP bars in tension zone with M20 and M25 grade of concrete and remaining two beams with steel bars as reinforcement in tension zone with M20 and M25 grade of concrete. The test is conducted on universal testing machine under two-point loading with simply supported condition. The glass fiber reinforced polymer has low elasticity and lower stiffness than the steel reinforcement. The failure of GFRP bar is linear. Experimental results indicates the load deflection for the beam specimen’s and crack pattern of the beams.

Abstract The kinetics and mechanism of the thermal decomposition of naphthoate complexes of lanthanum with hydrazine have been explained by thermal analysis. In kinetic studies the major decomposition stages (stages I and II) were calculated using the Coats Redfern equation. The TG and DTA data indicated that all complexes are thermo stable up to 91.9 K. The thermal decomposition of all Ln(III) complexes was a three-stage process except lanthanum 2- hydroxy 1- naphthoic acid and La2O3 as a final product for all the complexes. The activation energies of thermal decomposition of the complexes were calculated from analysis of the TG-DTA curves using the Coats Redfern methods.

In this current study, we discover person’s stress level is very closely connected to that of his/her networks of social-media, and we are using a bulky-scale dataset which is collected from the real-world social platforms like Facebook or twitter to steadily see the correlation of users’ stress states and social interactions. We are proposing a new hybrid model which ensures a factor graph model pooled with Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to force tweet gratified & social collaboration evidence for detecting stress level

The Comparative Analysis of Scheduling Approaches in Real-Time Systems

Abstract The Real Time Operating System (RTOS) supports applications that meet deadlines in addition to providing logically correct results. In multiprocessing operating system for the applications need to meeting of time deadlines and functioning in real time constraints. The quality of real-time scheduling algorithm has a direct impact on real-time system's working.The scheduling algorithms mainly studied in this paper are Earliest Deadline First, Rate Monotonic, Deadline Monotonic, Least laxity First, Group Earliest Deadline First for periodic task.We observed that the choice of a scheduling algorithm is important in designing a real-time system.
